GER class B74/ B77, LNER/BR Class Y4 Loco Kit.

Image Courtesy of George Falkner 2025. This photo shows a part finished GER class B74 made from 52F Models supplied parts. The eagle eyed among you will notice the absence of the 3D printed cylinders and the dumb buffers. The handrails are yet to be fitted.
The kit will include the parts necessary to build a class B77, LNER/BR class Y4. For BR modellers', we'll be able to supply a strip of five etched numberplates for the smokebox door.
26/11/2025 George has been a very busy boy since I last saw him. Not only has he finished the B74 but he's taken it on tour in the last couple of weeks and its been to:
1. Visited Expo EM for a run around the test track.
2. The loco was Run on Roy Jackson's Retford.... Although the spectacle of a B74 taking a massive train down the mainline is a crazy spectacle that made all those there that day stop and take notice.
3. Run on Geoff Kents Black Lion Crossing.
4 Visited Tony Wrights Little Bytham layout.
Next is a few more minor tweeks and then it's off to the paint shop for finishing.
We are hoping that the price for the kit will be in the £110.00-£115.00 range. The only thing that might effect the price of the kit is unforseen price rises in the cost of bought in parts
