About this kit.
This kit is the result of a collaboration between ourselves and George Falkner. George came up with the idea and I suppose challenged me to produce this kit. It's only a Pug, How hard can that be? The answer is very hard indeed. The amount of time and effort that's gone into this kit is out of all proportion to an engine with only 4-wheels.
We're hoping to be able to be able to customise each order to the individual customer. For the customer to use this service, we'll need some specific information from the customer. They will have to specify what period they are modelling in? Pre-Grouping, LNER or BR. What gauge do you model in? There are two widths of foldup chassis 00 At 13.00 wide and EM/P4 at 15mm wide so we'll need to know your specific requirements.
We've produced a multi media kit wit a lot of Nickel Silver parts to add some weight
and used 3D Printing for all the boiler/firebox parts as well as the boiler furniture and for the complex shape of the cylinders.
The inner walls of both tanks have been made to accommodate DCC and Sound parts should that be required.
The chassis, the footplate parts, the side tanks, cab and cab interior parts are all made from 0.38mm Nickel Silver. The cut down version designated class B77 has a different Chimney, Dome and Footplate furniture. These kits will be available from the outset in EM/P4 and OO Gauges.
The chassis has it's own Custom Made, 3-stage reduction gearbox giving an overall reduction ratio of 92:1. This optimises the drive train and is a big help in putting weight where its needed, over the driving wheels. Ideal for an engine that was only supposed to run at not more than 5 mph.

These kits will retail at £110.95 plus £5.00 P&P. Coreless 1219 motors are available at an additional £27.50, Post free if ordered with the kit.
